Review of American Ultra (2015) by Matt C — 24 Aug 2015
Think Pineapple Express meets Jason Bourne, and you start to get a grasp of where this movie is coming from. It's bloody, it's violent, and an entertaining ride, but don't look for much deeper meaning here.
Both leads are surprisingly competent in their roles, and the supporting cast is pretty good. More could have been done with this property, but it was passable enough as is.
