I do agree with most that the tone of the movie was confusing. It was pitched as a funny stoner flick, but it got more serious than expected, leaving little room to laugh. Although the romantic story between the couple is what we college kids come to really enjoy from the movie.

Haven't seen this great chemistry from the two since adventure land. Also while using Eric Forman as the bad guy would sound like a great fit for a stoner flick, I feel they gave him the wrong role.

People Eric does not make a convincing villain, have we not learned from Spiderman 3? The Acting was good, the music was good, they cleared obvious all obvious plot holes. I really did enjoy the indie vibe they had going on.

They should have pitched this movie differently, probably something more serious.
