It's honestly really hard to do well in the comedy action film genre. As a stoner comedy, it's fine and as an action movie, it's also fine. Putting the two together just became a muddled mishmash of explosions and third tier jokes that don't always land.
I'm sure that it's some people's cup of tea but it fails to appeal to the masses at large.
