American Ultra is a something that shouldn't work but does (if in the right mindset). It's a stoner action/comedy with real tender substance and brilliant performances. Sure, the plot totally lacks originality, but just watch it high and you won't care.
How can you hate a movie that has scene where a guy kills 12 people with items from a grocery store?
