Review of American Ultra (2015) by Foxxpix P — 05 Sep 2015
It looks like Hollywood has a new hero. There are a few plot points that are a bit far fetched but it is good to see a hero that is not indestructible. The image of Mike (Jesse Eisenberg) at the end of this movie is reminiscent of John McLean at the end of the first Die Hard.
Budget restrictions left a bit to be desired to the CIA headquarters and its staff, and some things were a bit convenient, but it more than made up for it in entertainment value. The actors were all very good in their roles and were genuinely relatable.
I would be interested in a sequel.
