Review of American Ultra (2015) by Julius G — 13 Sep 2015

This movie was one of my most anticipated movies of 2015 and I can't lie I was a bit disappointed it might be strange that I was looking forward to this movie, the reason is that I love Jesse Eisenberg and Max Landis writing style, but still this movie was really awesome.

This movie has almost all that I wanted it to have it was crazy and super violent. It had great chemistry between Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart. I was genuinely surprised about how good Kristen Stewart was, that was one of her best performances.

Jesse Eisenberg was as always great, he was very believable in this movie. This movie has more romance than expected and that was great. My only problems where that I wanted a better soundtrack, I wanted the music to build up the atmosphere and that really damage the movie because it was a bit lifles without any dubstep song I thought there might be, dont get me wrong I hate dubstep and modern pop and dj music but I thought this movie need that music.

Also I thought that those army scenes where pretty boring I just wanted to get back to jesse eisenberg and kristen stewart's characters.
