Review of American Ultra (2015) by The B — 25 Aug 2015

Saw this movie last night went in with not the highest hopes but was pleasantly surprised after it ended. For a movie that is a stoner action comedy I actually was thrown off on how real some of the more somber moments were and how they actual felt real.

There were a few scenes like that but only one that really stood out to me and threw me way off. For most the movie I could see most of the twist coming or at least be in the ball park but, one scene I never saw coming and it was kinda emotional in a horrid way.

When Mike and Laugher's fight towards the end Laugher constantly asked Mike to come out but not in the normal come out come out but as if he was really scared. Then when they finally stop fighting and Mike could kill him.

That scene was spooky good, I wasn't prepared for that scene to be in this movie and the few other scenes. All in all as a person who sees movies every Tuesday with friends and constantly watches movies that are new to my self I honestly think this movie is a 4 out of 5.
