Review of American: The Bill Hicks Story (2010) by Peter F — 09 Apr 2011

A stylish film both visually and narratively with it's state of the art photo animation and interviews with the people who knew Bill Hicks the person aswell as Hicks the stand up. If any negative comments are to be made then the film can be plodding and tends to drag at times and there isn't really anything here to attract a wider audience of non Hicks fans.

All in all though a very well put together film that fans of the late, great one will love and cherish.
