Comparing it to The Breakfast Club doesn't do this wonderful movie any favors, but it's hard not to have the same reaction to this film that you did to the Hughes classic. American Teen is a documentary following the lives of five teenagers from different cliques in their senior year.
It's an amazing look into what high schools are like nowadays, what's changed, and what will always remain the same. An amazing portrait of teenage life in America.
