Review of American Splendor (2003) by Robby T — 19 Dec 2007
Paul Giamatti was great and I guess thats why this movie is what put him on the map. The story was very fasinating to follow, seeing how a popular comic came to life and how it was all inspired. For an independant film I enjoyed it, but the thing bothered me a little bit was interspersing of the actual Harvey Pekar.
It was neat at first, but then it got annoying and then it did actually feel like an independant film.
