Review of American Splendor (2003) by M F — 14 Dec 2010
Very nice blend of actors, actual people and cartoons. It worked very well. Good jazz music throughout. Harvey and his wife come over as good people who have dealt well with a tough life. For a film about a comic book 'librettist' who deals with the misery and monotony of his life as his subject matter, it made me laugh surprisingly often.
Eleanor enjoyed it, too.
