A clever and touching portrait of a unique working-class "nobody". Splendor works as more than a biopic - it serves as a testament to the fact that all our miseries can be turned into creative and fulfilling works of art if we simply cease our self-indulgent wallowings and dare to dream that it's possible for life to be just a little bit brighter.
