Review of American Splendor (2003) by Mr M — 13 Aug 2009
A movies so full of life, as depressing and gritty as it really is for the average person. American Splendor is stylish, intelligent and original. I found it very easy relate to many aspects of this film and the seemingly unlikeable characters grew on me incredibly fast.
I found parts of this movie incredibly moving, as if they were a part of my own experiences. This may not be for everyone, but it reached me in a way that I'll all ways see it in a sentimental light.
