Movie showing the journey of a Texas American man from enlisting to PTSD after he returns from the forth tour of Iraq. Shows primarily the difficulties and sacrifices of American service members and their families.
I felt the movie offered that as a critique- that army had to sacrifice so much with little justification beyond basic ignorant platitudes and idealism to motivate it. Not sure if Chris Kyle is a hero- agree that they just show him as a human.
