Apart from any moral or historical aspects, this is a dull, by-the-numbers combat drama, ploddingly intersected with cliched family scenes. I expected to be outraged but I didn't expect to be bored.
'The Hurt Locker' or 'Black Hawk Down' this most certainly aint.
