I can understand some of the mainstream reviews on this movie that bash it. This movie does do some stuff very wrong! Characters fall a bit predictable at times, the plot is very simplistic, and some of the situations r too unbelievable even for an American pie movie.

But what does this movie do right?? It's very funny... The excellent raunchy but yet sometimes too crazy comedy hits home and masks the problems of the movie. If your are a fan of the original trilogy, this movie will be a definite treat for you! The good: actors fit right back into roles, comedy is amazing, toys good with your nostalgia when it needs to.

The bad: movie sometimes doesn't juggle the heart felt moments and the comedy good, predictable plot points, bland story. In the end: yes this movie does have some serious problems, and some would be a deal breaker if the movie wasn't funny.

The movie also doesn't take itself too too seriously, so the too ridiculous scenarios are permissible...
