Review of American Reunion (2012) by Marcdoyle — 07 Apr 2012

I thought the original American Pie was highly overrated, but I've grown to like the series more and more as it's gone on, culminating with American Wedding, which I genuinely enjoyed. American Reunion has it's truly outrageous and funny moments, but it's not as good as Wedding.

The classic "touching" moments in this series (which counterbalance the screwball comedy elements) are less plentiful here. On the other hand, there are 2 or 3 cameos which are truly unexpected and scream-worthy.

Sure, see it to have fun, but don't expect the series' best.
