More of a rerun of the original films as expected; its sad to see a project with great potential and resources ends up with weak material (a poorly written script filled with unfunny, shallow comedic sequences) the first film is a classic, the second one builds from the great material and was hyped up at its time.
the wedding is the happy ending of the sega then comes the reunion, seeing the old characters doing the same old tricks is heart-warming at first (till the first plot point) then the film just collapses as a whole for it's trying too hard catching on the glory from the past.
american pie hasn't grown in it's humour, but audiences have.
