Since college, and the first "american pie" movie I've been a fan of the series. Thought the "wedding" was pretty awful and so didn't have so high expectations for this one.
It turned out to be a positive surprise as I pretty much related to all of the characters in the movie and the adulthood dramas each character now faces in their lives...
