The original three American Pie movies are just great I love all three of them. The fourth one definitely is a funny film but seems kind of lazy. I was hoping to love this movie but due to the writing the film kind of just goes where we've been before.
In the original three when they had gross-out jokes it would get even grosser and insane as the series went along. The gross-out jokes in this one wasn't as good as any of the jokes from the original movie.
The problem was Adam Herz the writer from the original had nothing to do with this movie. The writers were the duo who brought us the Harold and Kumar films. Don't get me wrong I love those films but the writing is still bad.
