The film is unsuccessful to give any answer or even a direction for the central character's psychological behaviors at the end. Bale acted with hard work in so many lavishly shot frames to execute those sophistication and hypocrisy I upper class American life.
But it becomes unsuccessful to be a remarkable one for shallow plotlines,though it has got chances to become a one like Psycho, lost its way at the middle.
