Though a short movie, American Psycho does an amazing job layering the plot and making it extremely deep. Though it is not as great as the novel, the movie tries not to be held down by the source material and attempts to just be a good movie.
Christian Bale is a great Patrick Bateman and horror and humor are blended uniquely.
