Well shot and very well-acted, it's unfortunately lacking in plot or any type of logical sense. One could argue that that's the point, but it's not very enjoyable to sit through nearly two hours of a film to find zero resolution.
The ending is open to interpretation, but it's left too wide-open. The audience isn't given enough to go on and is left feeling confused and unsatisfied. Watch it if you have a lot of free time, are obsessed with Christian Bale, or just want to lay eyes on some disturbing stuff.
Otherwise, not worth it.
