Review of American Psycho (2000) by Bill C — 19 Nov 2012
American Psycho is the story of a man that isn't as perfect and well-read as his colleagues believe. His home life includes working out, dining out a lot, killing prostitutes with chainsaws and colleagues with axes.
It's the story of serial killer. Graphic, gruesome, and very disturbing. However, at times you can't help but laugh at how silly the mood of the movie is, as it is a satire of late-80's yuppies.
Bale is chilling as Patrick Bateman, and this movie is astonishing if you know what the main theme is. Highly recommended (not if you're squeamish though).
