Review of American Psycho (2000) by Bill T — 28 Nov 2012
A movie that just gets better every time you watch it, just because it's just so goddamn Grand Theft Auto III. (actually, this movie came out first), and just when we we were JUST realizing how bad the 80's/90's were at that time when it came out, this is even more hilarious.
Patrick Bateman's ruminitions about Phil Collins and Huey Lewis are just downright hysterical poetry. Yes, there are violent patches, because that's what it's all about, and it somewhat really falls apart at the end, but there's still some real brilliant work shown here by all.
