It's very vogue to say this movie speaks only of the yuppie culture of the 80s. I watched it for the time in years. It's still very applicable to our current culture's artificiality, it emulates our classism, it shows our self absorbed mindset.
This movie has aged brilliantly. Christian Bale gives an insanely masterful performance.
