Review of American Psycho (2000) by Alec B — 17 Apr 2014
Director Mary Harron's touch is exactly what Ellis' novel needed to become a coherent film (regardless of whatever silly things Ellis thinks) as she and co-writer Guinevere Turner give the story real focus.
That said, I think the film could have afforded to be a bit longer but ultimately its still an effective, terrifying comedy.
