While Christian Bale's creepy performance is super entertaining and entirely creepy, American Psycho fails to fully immerse the viewer in its point. So much controversy and debate can be made over the ending to the film that makes it almost frustrating to get to the end of the film and not understand what just happened.
Either a brilliant look into the psyche of a man driven by rage, or a look into the advantages of the upper class, American Psycho is a seemingly confusing film, although strengthened by the abilities of its talented cast.
