American Psycho is one of my all time favorite movies, featuring one of my all time favorite performances. This movie is crazy, intense, and well done in every regard. The acting is fantastic, as Christian Bale portrays the ever-so-quotable Patrick Bateman perfectly.
The writing is darkly funny, and the tone and look of the movie is great. The themes and messages hidden in the movie will keep you guessing the entire time, and refuses to give a definite answer. There are so many memorable scenes, such as the "Hip to be Square" scene, the business card scene, the chainsaw chase, Bateman's breakdown over the phone, and the tense ending.
This movie is completely unforgettable, and is one of the most disturbingly fun movies ever made. 10/10.
