Review of American Pie Presents: The Book of Love (2009) by Steve D — 10 Aug 2010
I saw this movie with no expectations and I have to admit that I found it a liitle bit better than I thought, but .. only a little bit.
The pros are the quite sympathetic three main characters, the nice looking girls, a good soundtrack and a funny cameo by Eugene Levy.
The cons are certainly the usual gross moments - like a raping elk or an old hooker - the highly unsympathetic and in no way funny new Stiffler, the all-around weak storyline and the fact that - for a comedy - it wasn't very funny.
If you really got nothing to do like me when I watched this movie deep in the night than watch it, but you certainly don't have to see it, even if you are an fan of the series. It's not the worst movie of all time, so chek it out if you must:
2/5 stars.
