Review of American Pie 2 (2001) by Ruhan R — 05 Sep 2010
Somehow I like this film slightly more than it's predecessor. Sure, it still revolved around booze and sex, but I think this time around the script went for a wee little bit of emotional depth...and failed.
It attempted to send a message regarding friendship and sticking together, but all of the shallow jokes and crude humour spoiled any opportunity for meaning. Can't say it was a total waste of time though, it had it's moments.
