American Pie is up there as one of the best teen comedies ever created. The whole franchise is good for the most part, (even though Wedding was the weakest), and the first film is the best. American Pie does a fantastic job at creating believable and relate able characters who are all hilarious in their own way.
Jim is someone people can relate to as he always ends up in incredibly embarrassing situation. People will connect with Stifler, because everyone wants to stand out and be cool. Other good characters include Jim's dad, Michelle, and Finch.
While Oz and Kevin aren't all that interesting of characters, for the most part their is a fantastic cast here. Also, the rock songs in this movie are great as well. American Pie is a well made comedy that most teens will enjoy.
