First movie to knock down on my list is American Movie. This flick was just really dumb to me. The movie was supposed to be the making of a movie called Northwestern but it was really about the making of a movie called Coven. I guess, as a documentary, it would have been better to focus on the movie making process but instead it focused on letting us witness firsthand how much of an idiot Mark Bochardt, the films centerpiece, really is or was. How he takes advantage of an old man and his friends and whatnot. I guess if watching some idiot struggle with his dream of making a movie while struggling with his personal life sounds good to you, then maybe you should check it out.

Tommy Lee Jones can be really funny and in Man of the House he manages to do so. He is a Texas ranger and he is given the job of protecting a cheerleading squad from the bad guys and whatnot via a witness protection program. There are some moving moments in the flick, but overall it's the funny things that happen between a conservative redneck ranger and a group of liberal minded cheerleaders. No boobies, but there are still some very sexy scenes. Cheap action, but the laughs are genuine.

Sahara was a lot better than I had anticipated. The movie had Matthew Mcconnwhatever in it along with Penelope Cruz and well, it was an action adventure flick. It reminded me alot of National Treasure but it didn't reek of Walt Disney. This movie was extremely awesome and the explosions, the action and everything was just fine and dandy. I loved it. I may watch it again some time.

If you want to see a really weird movie, check out Phone Booth! The category is suspense and that's exactly what it gives to you on a silver platter. You got a guy who is obsessed with himself trapped in a phone booth by a crazy sniper who is out to prove a point. I think the most enjoyable thing about this movie is knowing, almost as soon as the guy talks, that the killer is Keifer Sutherland. I loved it, everyone should watch it! Good couples movie.

Meet the Fockers was just really weird. It was funny, but it was weird at the same time. Robert De Niro really had me going as this huge conservative CIA guy and Dustin Hoffman was just really weird as a hippy. It never felt like a role he would be playing to me. Barbara Streisand really cracked me up though, I was kind of shocked at that, but she was really funny. I hate Ben Stiller and I think he is the corniest comedian in the world, but he had a couple of moments. The movie was pretty good though, I suggest seeing Meet the Parents first, because I didn't and I was kind of confused by a few things.
