What a wierd film. It's about a guy who dropped out of high school to make films. I kind of related with him a little becasue I know people like him but in the end I just felt sorry for him. Good documentary though, his uncle was funny and his friend whose brain was fried from all the drugs was awesome.
They were all great people but it was clear they were being unrealistic about their whole approach, still, he's out there doing it and with a passion. I also felt sorry for his kids though because his filmmaking took up his whole life and it's like they don't have a father.
So in the end I don't know what to think of this, they're enjoyable to watch but kind of pathetic and he's not a good father which personally makes me upset but then what can you do. Entertaining but in the end just kind of sad.
