Though the acting is somewhat unbalanced, "American Mary" is a delightfully blood filled horror accomplishment. With it's gritty yet sophisticated style, stunning visuals and an absolutely striking performance from Katherine Isabelle, American Mary is a must see for horror film fanatics.
Not only does it successfully deliver scares without fully relying on blood and gore, but the film also has aspects of psychological thriller and drama films. Props to the Twisted Twins for providing a definitely twisted film.
