Tom Cruise is the best part of this film, so if you like your movies with a heavy dose of Tom Cruise then this is the movie for you.
The film is based on the real-life story of TWA pilot Barry Seal, and his work with the CIA. It works as a comedy but falls short of being a classic like Good Fellas, because you don't care what happens to Barry Seal in the end. He's the same person as the beginning of the film as he is in the end and you don't know him any better than when movie started. It's a film you'll enjoy when your watching but won't remember five years from now.
See it or Skip It:
See it when it comes out on Redbox. It's worth seeing once for the humor and Tom Cruise's performance as Barry Seal but it's not something I'd see multiple times.
