Cliché and corny. The scenes of cartoon tutorials meant to educate viewers while Lynard Skynard played in the background made me wince and groan. Tom Cruise does what he always does -- he assumes the roll of our tough-funny guy hero who we're supposed to laugh "with" and not "at".
It is a good story but the angle in which it was approached cheapened the effect. Not for a smart audience, they won't appreciate the gimmicks.
