Review of American Made (2017) by Daryl L — 03 Sep 2017
Though this biographical crime film isn't all that original, deep script wise or bother to really touch upon difficult subjects it manages to be more than watchable thanks primarily to three things.
Firstly Tom Cruise is fantastic, the direction by Doug Liman is on point and the plot is frenetic and engrossing enough to make the film fly by. The rest of the cast is decent, the score/soundtrack is solid and as far pure entertainment fluff it is up there with the best.
