Review of American Hustle (2013) by Sherie P — 29 May 2014

There were some fantastic performances from Bale and Adams here, but I feel like Lawrence was rather miscast, as it was obvious how much younger she was than the rest of the cast. Although she did perform eloquently, to me, the entire film made her look like a toddler trying to wear their mother's clothes.

However, all jokes aside, I can't help giving it 4 stars; I just really enjoyed this movie. But I do feel like "Explosion at the Wig Factory" would have made for a more enticing title.
