From 12/29/2013. "American Hustle" (Sat 12/21/1013): I recommend this film, which reminds me of "The Sting" (1973). Great ensemble acting. A few negatives. I think the costume design for the 1970s is overdone, and the screenplay flawed: It used the word "lifeline," which was made popular only in 1999 by the television game show, "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" as well as referenced Dr.
Wayne Dyer's book, "The Power of Intention," which was not published until 2005.
