A cast of experienced actors, with one exception: Jennifer Lawrence. She had already made her mark with Silver Linings Playbook, but in American Hustle she proves she can play any role given to her. Lawrence though wasn't the biggest surprise.
That honor goes to Louis C.K. With a great cast chemistry, plenty of humor, and an energetic vibe, David O. Russell delivers the best "based on a true story" movie of 2013.
