Review of American Hustle (2013) by I N — 19 May 2015
Not a huge fan of DOR but the acting in AH carries the film. Jennifer Lawrence was particularly compelling as an eccentric, passive/aggressive housewife. Her live and let die lip sync scene as well as the Bradley Cooper's celebratory scene were particularly memorable.
Ending was a bit abrupt, however the slow burn story telling was keeps us captivated throughout.
