Review of American Hustle (2013) by Jonathon P — 22 Jul 2014
The first half is the most boring crap I've ever seen and I'm fairly certain there was no script at all. By "no script at all" I don't mean "They're interactions just felt so real" I mean "This dialogue is complete garbage.
" The acting (aside from Cooper) is fine but the majority of the movie is completely pointless interactions. They do end up going somewhere by the end and the end is fairly good but it's just not enough to make up for such a terrible start.
The most interesting part was Lawrence acting crazy but that's only because it's being contrasted with a whole lot of nothing. Save yourself the time and watch something else.
