Overlong and rambling but absorbing and beautiful neverthless. The underbelly of the American Dream and perhaps an explanation of the mystery and horror of the ascent of Donald Trump. I love the way Arnold introduces potential menace (getting in a car with 3 middleage cowboys could have been self-destructive but any potential malevolence is avoided and it is the youthful crazy Jake who eventually crashes in, wielding a gun and spoiling the party).
