A fine take on the coming-of-age story, bolstered by natural and interesting performances from the two leads. A little long in terms of running time, thanks to some show-offy cinematography, and some overlong scenes (though I've mixed feelings as to whether they are overlong), the movie nevertheless doesn't feel like a slog.
