American Honey is a exuberant, free flowing story of a group of young traveling magazine salesmen. Like its characters, the film drifts from moment to moment, capturing the freedom, but also the confinement the characters are subjected to.
Similar to Boyhood before it, Andrea Arnold has structured American Honey like life: a series of events that continue to push forward relentlessly.
