Review of American History X (1998) by Anjana R — 05 Apr 2012
There are two good things in this film: Edward Norton's performance and Tony Kaye's direction. When you think about it, that should be more than enough to warrant a higher rating-- especially considering the majority of the film focuses on Norton's character.
Still, for some reason, the movie never finds its own rhythm and leaves the viewer a bit off-kilter through its entirety.
