Review of American Hardcore (2006) by Sibby W — 12 Apr 2008
The Dead Kennedys were prominently featured in the book but left out of the movie, otherwise I would have rated it higher. Too much focus on the LA scene and violence. Having been in a small-time, but gigging HC band in the 80's, Capitol Punishment, I was disappointed with the lack of coverage of Tim Yohannon and Maximumrocknroll.
