Review of American Gun (2005) by Eric B — 26 Sep 2007
I have one gripe about this film. It's like they gathered 3 related, but different movies, then cut the beginnings and ends from them and spliced the 3 movies to make 1. There isn't much character development, you are thrown into the story and gather along the way, and there is no closure.
The problem is you have to watch the movie ignoring the actors and realize, the main character is not an actor, its guns. I did however really like the depiction of what the family of a shooter in a Columbine type shooting goes through in the aftermath.
It's almost like a day in the life of a gun, tomorrow starts all over again.
