Review of American Graffiti (1973) by Carlos R — 05 Feb 2010
An early work by George Lucas, before Star Wars, and here we can really note that he's not just one CGI director, the directing work with the actors was awesome. All the characters were so well developed, something that is completely gone in today's teen films.
The soundtrack was really good, with those rock-and-roll songs from the early 60's. Really proves that it's not necessary neither sex or stupid jokes to make an effective and good teen film, but maybe it's just because today's teenagers, that have become so stupid with the pass of time.
For that reason, this film now, more than always has become so essential and a great classic.
